Hi, I’m Roman
I’m an AAT-licensed accountant with over ten years in accounting. I started Calm Accounts to give small business owners an accountant who is easy to reach, explains things in plain English and charges a fixed fee.
My background
I trained and worked in a Manchester accountancy practice, looking after limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, including clients in the music sector, and preparing management accounts.
I then spent nearly three years at Xero, supporting accountants and businesses with the software. It means I know Xero inside out, and I can set your books up so they stay accurate all year.
Why I started Calm Accounts
Over the years I saw how often business owners felt let down by their accountant: slow replies, jargon and bills they didn’t expect. Calm Accounts is the opposite. You deal with me directly, you always know what you’ll pay, and you understand what’s happening with your numbers.
I’m fully remote and work with clients across the UK. Outside work I love travelling, but I’m always a message away.
